Odin's eyes are in everythingGod of War Ragnarok. The Allfather Odin spies on the Nine Realms with ravens - creatures with which he has a unique affinity. These creatures are his servants, capable of traversing the realms and portal gods at will. Small ravens can be found in almost all major areas, hidden in the landscape and just waiting to be destroyed with a well-aimed ax throw. And destroying the Ravens unlocks huge rewards.
Later in the story, Kratos will earn aempire seedto theNifleheim. This optional area hassix legendary chests. Destroying Ravens grants you the right to open more of these chests. The armor here is extremely useful as it boosts the effects of Healing Stone - and later gives Kratos a set of chest armor with a chance to generate a healing mist just by attacking enemies. That's a phrase that's useful throughout the game.
But finding the ravens can be quite difficult. Check out the list below for clues that will take you to all 48 locations. And if you fight them all, you'll even unlock a unique post-game boss fight.

At the beginning of the story, Kratos gets a realm seed forNifleheim. This optional area leads to a place calledThe Raven Tree. As you get closer to the tree, you will unlock a special Find and Destroy questall 48 ravensin the Nine Realms.Odin's Ravenare hidden in hard-to-find places or fly in the sky.
There are six chests insideThe Raven Tree|Niflheim. By destroying the required number of ravens, you can open each chest in turn.

Svartalfheim | Odin's Raven
Odin's Rabe No. 1:Aurvangar Wetlands– As you enter Aurvangar through the portal, look left at a tall rock formation. There's a bright green bird. It is to the left of the boat.
Odin's Rabe No. 2:Nidavellir– On the big building with the water wheel near the city entrance. In the square with Sindri and the Odin statue, look at the building and shoot an arrow at it.
Odin's Rabe No. 3:The watchtower- To reach this area, go to Sindri's Blacksmith in theBay of Bounty. Climb the wall here to reach the upper level of the watchtower. On your right is a large locked door that requires a key found by the giant geyser in Bounty Bay. Circle the trees on the watchtower cliffs. It flies fast, so wait somewhere it loops and throw your ax to finish it off.
Odin's Rabe No. 4:Radsvinns Rig– Visible from the bottom of the rig. Look at the hanging crane hook!
Odin's Rabe No. 5:Althjofs Rig– After climbing the chain, a raven can be seen just in front of the marked building, to the left of the metal wheel. Throw your ax through the cracked wall to hit it.
- Access to Lyngbakr Island: After getting the Watchtower Key and using the key at the Watchtower, summon the Lyngbakr. Use your boat and land on the only available dock (for now) to explore Lyngbakr. This is not an island. It's a huge creature!
- Watchtower Key: Found in the underground chamber on the island. To reach it, use the metal wheel and freeze the gear on the elevator. Next, return to the wooden beams on the cliff and go right to reach the top. Ride the elevator up and jump to the ground to smash through with the Blades of Chaos. Defeat the monster and open the chest below.
Odin's Raven #6:Lyngbakr Island– After freeing the second fin, collect the fire bomb and bring it back to the gold debris blocking the path across the gap to the front of the creature. Swing over once the debris clears and crawl through the tunnel to another chest. To the left of the chest you'll find the raven.
Odin's Rabe No. 7:the forge- After taking the train to The Forge, disembark onto a high ledge overlooking the town. Here a raven circles in the sky. You must plan your ax throw carefully to hit it.
Odin's Raven #8:Pits of Jarnsmida– Exit the forge on the second turn and fight the Grims in the lower arena from the beginning of the area. Climb down the chain with the marker and look over the water - a raven is flying around, which you can hit from the shore.
Odin's Rabe No. 9:Apple Core– To the left of the third door, Atreus wants to investigate. You have to solve a water wheel puzzle using ore to block the water trough. The raven is to the left of the massive door. This is the door that leads to Tyr's prison.
Alfheim | Odin's Raven
Odin's Rabe No. 10:The strong– When you exit the starting canyon at the first Mystic Gateway, descend and you will reach a rocky natural bridge with a gap. On the left is a tree with a raven perched on one of the branches. This is the path that leads to the Temple of Light.
Odin's Rabe No. 11:Temple of Light- Easy to miss. Continue after thatsecond light wall. After hooking the anchor pointsplaced by TyrInside the temple, keep going up the path until you find a small ledge that you can fall off of to the left of the path leading up. Drop down and turn right to find a large gate with a Twilight Stone.
- Use the Twilight Stone to smash your ax into the open area at the top of the gate and into the second Twilight Stone. This will bounce the ax into a hidden raven.
Odin's Rabe No. 12:Temple of Light– If you continue from the fourth wall of light, you will reach another large arena with a huge light in the center. There is a raven on a balcony to the left of the exit door.
Odin's Rabe No. 13:The ravine- Enter the ravines, climb up and onto a large square. To the right of the Sindri Blacksmith, a raven flies in a circle. The Canyons is the entrance path to The Barrens - a large open world area with many, many more ravens.
Odin's Rabe No. 14:The Barrens- In the elven temple in the far north of the Barrens. Drive your sleigh to this location, exit and encounter a group of dark elves inside the domed building. Eliminate the enemies and you can claim the legendary chest in the back corner. Just above the Legendary Chest you'll also find an easily overlooked raven perched on the gnarled tree on the rocks above.
Odin's Rabe No. 15:The Barrens– In the right eye of the giant skull, at the head of the skeleton along the east wall. Clear up the storm and look at the skull to spot this raven. travel toThe lowerand complete the favor to stop the sandstorm. ThatskullYou can find one there tooburied treasureand more collectibles by digging deeper into the bones.
Vanaheim | Odin's Raven
Odin's Rabe No. 16:The southern wilderness- After entering through the mystic gate, keep going straight. There is a small pond behind a curved fallen log. Behind the tree a raven circles over the pond.
Odin's Rabe No. 17:Freyr's Lager– If you leave the camp on a mission with Freya, exit the caves and reach an open area on the left with a large stone circle over the water. In the distance is a raven from Odin. Your ax can reach it from the ledge. This is near the area where Kratos talks about his brother Deimos before crawling through the tunnel and encountering the Ancient of the Forest.
Odin's Rabe No. 18:river delta / pilgrim crossing– Right next to the third ingredient for the Cure for the Dead favor. Look through the arches to the left of the Legendary Chest to spot this easy-to-miss raven. Head to the area at the end of the Pilgrim's Crossing Favor, past the two drawbridges you need to lower.
Odin's Rabe No. 19:river delta / The rock ruin- Reach the opposite side of the Cliffside Ruins by traveling through the Veiled Passage. When you exit the passage you will fall down this cliff. The lore marker is on the right. The raven is on a branch far in the background of the lore marker. You can hit the raven with a careful ax throw.
Odin's Rabe No. 20:goddess falls– A raven circles over the falls. Look out over the water at the top of the falls to spot the raven.
Odin's Rabe No. 21:Obscured passage- In the cave, reach the back bank and look up and behind you. There is a crack in the cave ceiling with roots hanging down. The raven is hanging around up there. You can beat the raven from the shore.

Odin's Rabe No. 22:The forbidden sand- On the ledge opposite the Elf Tower - the building on the right as you enter the Forbidden Sands. To reach this raven, you'll need to look up at the rickety outpost from behind - clear the swarm matter first. Burn the brush with Seal Arrows, then ricochet the ax off the Twilight Stone with a charged throw. This will make the raven visible on the rock structure.
Odin's Rabe No. 23:The forbidden sand- Look for a heart-shaped symbol on the westernmost cliff. It leads to a small area with a Nornir chest. You'll find the Braziers all over the site nearby. Travel directly from the Nornir Chest. Grab the wall of ruins. At the very top you will find a "sleeping troll" - it looks like a statue. Behind it hides an Odin Raven.
Odin's Rabe No. 24:The forbidden sand- Go toFreyr-Statuein the North. There is a bridge of light and a raven flying over the gap. You'll recognize it as you approach.
Odin’ Raven #25:The forbidden sand- Go to the entrance to the Forbidden Sands on the east sideelf library. On the ledge where you have to jump up, look for a cracked spot on the base. Throw your ax at the crack to breach the wall section and reveal a hidden path leading underground. Look up and to the left of the path leading to the Nornir Chest. Use the spear to make it easier to hit that raven.
Midgard | Odin's Raven
Odin's Rabe No. 26:Lake of the Nine– Located on the high structure directly opposite the Raider hideout to the northeast. You will spot the raven on the opposite ridge as you exit.
Odin's Rabe No. 27:Lake of the Nine- Found in a southeastern ice tunnel on the outer wall of the Temple of Tye. Check east of Raider Keep.
Odin's Rabe No. 28:Derelict Outpost- Located in the large side quest area with the favor "Sigrun's Curse". Swing over with the crane as you enter the main outdoor area. Above the hooked anchor is a crow perched on a tall wooden pole.
Odin's Rabe No. 29:Fountain of Urd / Lake of Nine- Take the path that leads to the Well of Urd to the north. At the top, after scaling the wall with the legendary chest, turn around and look into the distance at the lake. A crow is sitting on a perch.
Odin's Rabe No. 30: The Rowers - Go to the courtyard with the giant chain between the two rower statues. Look at the cliffs near the right Oarsman.
Odin's Rabe No. 31: Derelict Outpost - Located outside of the Derelict Outpost. In the post-game, Skoldjr is on a rock pillar on which a wrecked boat is balanced. Look inside the boat's cracked hull to spot it.
Reunion with Svartalfheim | Odin's Ravens
Odin's Rabe No. 32:the forge– After using thespeardropTo climb the wall to exit the forge, stop at the ledge and turn around to find this raven.
Odin's Rabe No. 33:Alberich Hohl –Alberich Hollow is an optional location located at the top of Dragon Beach. Use the Draupnir Spear to climb the wooden scaffolding and climb to the bridge over Dragon Beach. This leads to a cave. As you exit the starting cave and reach an outdoor area, it's on top of a tree on the left. Ahead, you fight more Grimes and use firebombs to blast another rock face.
Odin's Rabe No. 34:Alberich Island– If you go up the cliff from the beach, you will reach a large wooden crane. Links are sound stones. Smash them and you will see the raven flying around in the distance.
Odin's Rabe No. 35:Alberich Island– Once you land on the actual island by crossing the wooden platform. When you land on the right side of the water wheel, climb up and look for a hole in the rocks on the left. Hidden here is an extremely easy-to-miss raven. This is the area where you need to lower the gate by rotating the crane.Very, very easy to miss.
Helheim | Odin's Raven
Odin's Rabe No. 36:Hellgrind– When you exit the first Mystic Gateway you will find this raven flying around the pit before the first climb section. Use the Draupnir spear to hit the raven more easily.
Odin's Rabe No. 37:Hellgrind– After completing the fight with Garm, solve the wheel mechanism and the gate puzzle with the spinning gears. The raven flies around on the other side of the gate. Look up above the lore marker.
Reunion with Vanaheim | Odin's Ravens
Odin's Rabe No. 38:Eastern Barri Forest– Before you reach the Den of the Heavenly Wolves on the way from Freyr's camp, you will come across a Nornir chest. From the lookout where we come across the "C" rune device, turn right to find this raven perched in a tree in the distance. Use the spear to reach it.
Odin's Rabe No. 39:Abandoned village– From the Abandoned Village Mystic Gateway, go to the big temple via the zip line. Go through the gap on the left (from the arch) and then swing right as you enter. Keep going straight and you will see a large tree near a Draupnir spear point. To the left of where you can go over with the spear, you'll find the raven on the statue in the log.
Odin's Rabe No. 40:The levels– Travel west from the entrance to the western half of the plains. Go north along the gorge in the middle. You'll see this raven on a high ledge to the right of the gate leading out of the water area, which is locked during the day. There's a cave path nearby that leads north - it's blocked until you break the shortcut from behind.
Odin's Rabe No. 41:The levels– In the northwest of the plains, follow the path northwest from the Altar of Heaven and drop into a courtyard with a gate guarded by a Seidr barrier. On the left is a large bounty to hold on to. Look down to find this raven.
Odin's Rabe No. 42:The levels– In the dragon arena, in the north-west of the plain. Enter the arena by dropping down from the wall of ruins, then run left. Here a path leads to a bottomless pit - look down to find this very easy to miss raven.
Odin's Rabe No. 43:The levels- Look behind the heavenly altar near the blacksmith on the east side of the plains.
Odin's Rabe No. 44:The Jungles- Find the raven perched over a red chest in the ogre arena. This is the arena above the broken bridge near the entrance to the jungle that can only be reached by boat after the jungle has been flooded.
Odin's Rabe No. 45:The levels– In the Dreki Arena in the southwest of the plain. To the right of the pond, on a high wall. This area is only accessible after the crater has been flooded by opening the floodgates on the dam.
Odin's Rabe No. 46:The Canyons- In the northern part of the Sinkholes, which is only accessible after opening both gates at the Celestial Altar Temple, look for the bird perched on the rocks to your left. Land on a nearby beach to throw a spear and destroy it. Return here after defeating the dragon of this area to approach the raven more easily.
Muspelheim | Odin's Raven
Odin's Rabe No. 47:Burning Rock–As part of the story, when Kratos goes to Muspelheim, travel down the cliffs. When you enter a cave, you have to burn your way through thornbushes to exit through a narrow path. There is a legendary chest here.Just to the right of the legendary chest, look into the cracked cave wall overlooking the lava.Directly to the right of the legendary chest, in the cracked cave wall overlooking lava.
Odin's Rabe No. 48:Surtr's Forge- Return to Surtr's Forge southeast of the Mystic Gateway. From here you drive to where you meet Surtr. They slide down a zip line. After sliding down, look up and to the left to see a structure built into the cliff face. Head up the hill to Surtr's Forge, then turn around to look at the structure - you can see the raven from here.
- If you return after the game, you will find Surtr's Forge just past the Remnants of Asgard battle area.
The Raven Keeper | Optional Boss

Go back toRabenbauminNiflheimand open all your reward chests. After opening all 6 chests thatRaven Keeper appears. Follow the keeper into the tutorial arena to initiate a bonus boss fight.
- Boss: The Raven Keeper– The Raven Keeper is a powerful bifrost witch with two phases. She retires and periodically summons undead warriors. The warriors get stronger as you deal more damage to the Raven Keeper. After dealing high damage, the Raven Keeper summons a Frost Dragon called "The Pale One" - it's similar to the dragons Kratos encounters in the crater. Once the dragon is down, the Raven Keeper will be vulnerable.
Reward:Forsbrandr Relic Handle. Creates a wave that knocks back enemies and covers Kratos with a protective aura that lasts ~12 seconds when fully upgraded.
The powerful protective relic is a worthy reward for players willing to track down all 48 ravens. Enjoy your reward and keep exploring the aftermath to find even more surprises.

Where are the last two Odin's ravens? ›Helheim – Helgrind 2
The last of Odin's ravens in Helheim is located in Helgrind, on the border to Shipyard of the Fallen. This one is found on the way out of the area during the quest step, Reunion. It is above the Lore Marker found through another locked gate and wheel puzzle that requires Atreus' Sigil arrows.
The Eyes of Odin: Quest Rewards
Each chest is unlocked by reaching a certain threshold of ravens cleared out. After you've cleared all 48 Ravens, you'll get access to the Raven Keeper boss fight in the nearby practice arena, which includes having to fight a dragon.
